Try to use very light pressure when picking up the DOTZ®. Alternatively, you can use one of these techniques; pick the DOTZ® up from the side or twist your stylus a little as you lift off when placing the DOTZ® onto the canvas.

Roll your new canvas in the opposite direction and hold for 30 seconds before you start your project. Our fabric is wrinkle and crease free.

You can apply our DOTZ® STICK to the area. Using 3mm thickness, allow to dry clear and then dot. You are welcome to send us a photo of this area of your project if you need further assistance.

No they don’t under normal conditions. Once your project is complete, roll an empty bottle or rolling pin over the DOTZ® surface to ensure that all the DOTZ® are secure and flat on the adhesive surface. For designs with special DOTZ®, apply pressure with fingers.

Many of our crafters find that gently wiping the area using a baby wipe helps to remove any excess Adhesive.

Glass is optional according to personal preference and is not required nor encouraged as it is reflective.

Our pillowcases are meant for decorative use only however if they become soiled, you can turn them inside out and hand wash gently in cool water using a mild white soap. Dry flat in the shade on a white towel. Do not dry clean or wash in the washing machine.

Yes! That is how we store our completed projects. Roll with the dotz facing inwards and keep in their original box until you are ready to frame them.

Knead the wax with your clean/warm fingers for about 30 seconds. The wax should soften again so you can continue to use it. Alternatively, please contact us if you need further assistance.

We suggest starting from the bottom right corner if you are right-handed or bottom left corner if you are left-handed. Work your way to the opposite corner by focusing on completing one shade/symbol section at time. This way, your hand will have a dotted section to rest on and you avoid touching the adhesive areas too much. Once you have dotted the entire bottom section, peel the protective film further up and repeat the process. Avoid letting your hand or sleeve touch the adhesive areas too much before you dot them. You want to protect the adhesive area from skin, clothing, hair and dust as much as possible. A clean adhesive area ensures easy and secure dotting. Happy dotting!!

Gently shake your tray from side to side. The DOTZ® will settle into the rivets of the tray with the flat side down and round/sparkling side up. Avoid over filling your tray as too many DOTZ® do not settle easily on their flat sides.

Our DIAMOND DOTZ® canvas is specially crimped on the edges to avoid fraying. If you need to cut it (for example trim before framing), do not pull at the edges.
